My name is Kinga Kozak, I am Polish and I have been working as a Polish translator since 2006. When I graduated with a BA (Hon) in teaching English as a Second Language and a BA (Hon) in Translation and Interpreting in Poland, soon I got engaged in UE educational-cultural international school projects where I started using my interpreting and translation skills over the coming years.
Driven by my passion for languages, I decided to take my BA studies in Spanish and German a few years later; then PGDip (level 7) in Translation Studies at the University of Portsmouth.
I have got a real passion for languages and international communication.
As a result, I have been working as a teacher of English language as a second language part-time and a freelance translator and interpreter since 2002. I have a genuine passion for bilingual interpreting (EN-PL/PL-EN) in the legal sector in the UK (criminal, family, civil and employment law) as I find it fascinating and challenging. I have got a wide experience in working in different language combinations English - Spanish - German - into Polish when translating written documents, both in the UK and internationally.
Working in the education and translation sectors requires some continuous professional development to keep up to date with the changing trends and demands.
